Chan Ho Park became Major League Baseball’s first South Korean-born player in 1994 when he worked an inning in relief for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He now looks for some relief of his own in Arlington, Texas, where his home is listed for sale.

The retired baseball pitcher is asking $1.095 million for his house in the guard-gated community of Hampden Woods. The property first came onto the market in November at $1.295 million.

Built in 1998, the two-story contemporary features vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring, custom finishes and a gourmet kitchen. Its 5,684 square feet of living space includes an exercise room, a media room with a wet bar, a study, four bedrooms and five full baths.

A raised patio overlooks a custom pool and spa. The nearly half-acre grounds also feature a cabana with an additional bathroom, an outdoor kitchen and a three-car garage.

Park, 40, spent his first eight seasons with the Dodgers and was an All-Star (2001). On Wednesday, Park, 40, returned to Dodger Stadium to take part in “Korea Night” and throw out the ceremonial first pitch. He also played for the Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of 17 seasons and is the winningest Asian-born player in baseball history with 126 career victories.

Records show that the property last sold in 2002 for $1.26 million. Lillie Young of Allie Beth Allman & Associates is the listing agent.
