NFL punter Chris Kluwe lists his Huntington Beach home for $1.995 million

Southern California football product and former Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe has put his home in Huntington Beach on the market for $1.995 million.

Built in 1998, the two-story Traditional in a gated community fronts the second fairway at the J. Press Maxwell-designed SeaCliff Country Club.

Within the 3,700 square feet of living space is a two-story foyer with a curving staircase, formal living and dining rooms, an office/library and a family room with a fireplace. A custom video game room featured on the DIY Network series “Man Caves” boasts stadium seating, a dual gaming center and a 106-inch projector screen.

The master suite has a fireplace, a walk-in closet and a large soaking tub for a total of four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.

Outdoors, a covered patio centers on a swimming pool with dual waterfalls and a raised spa. Elsewhere on the grounds are a fire pit and a built-in barbecue.

Kluwe, 33, was a USA Today High School All-American at Los Alamitos High School before attending UCLA, where he was a finalist for the Ray Guy Award his senior year. He spent eight seasons with the Minnesota Vikings from 2005-2012 and was last in camp with the Oakland Raiders in 2013.

He is the author of the essay collection “Beautifully Unique Sparkleponies” and coauthor of the science fiction novel “Prime.”

Kluwe bought the house in 2010 for $1.65 million, property records show. Hat tip to Busted Coverage for spotting the listing.
