Former U.S. Open golf champion Geoff Ogilvy has teed up his home in Del Mar for sale at $6.475 million.

The home, north of the Torrey Pines Golf Course in Olde Del Mar, stands behind a gated drive on more than half an acre, with a main residence of 4,633 square feet, a pool and a tennis court. Clad in hardwood built-ins and flooring, interiors were configured to frame views of the coastline and feature bay windows, telescoping doors and walls of glass.

Ogilvy, 37, failed to make the cut at the 2014 U.S. Open at Pinehurst over the weekend, finishing 7-over. He won the Open in 2006, besting Jim Furyk, Colin Montgomere and Phil Mickelson by one stroke.

Records show that the Del Mar property was offered for as much as $6.75 million in March. Ogilvy and his wife, Juli, purchased the home in 2009 for $4.15 million. Brett Combs of Pacific Shore Platinum is the listing agent.
