Cavaliers’ Lou Amundson to rent out Manhattan Beach home

NBA forward Lou Amundson, currently in camp with the Cleveland Cavaliers after signing with the team in September, has put his home in Manhattan Beach up for rent at $7,500 a month.
Amundson purchased the home, found on a corner lot in the beach city’s Tree Section, in July for $1.805 million.
A bridged walkway leads to the front of the 1981 residence, which riffs Midcentury style with exposed beams, lofted ceilings and rows of sliding glass doors. An open floor plan of more than 2,600 square feet contains a den, a living room with a fireplace, a dining room and an updated kitchen.
The lower-level master suite, with a generous walk-in closet and soaking tub, opens to the backyard space with a patio. In all, the home counts three bedrooms and two full bathrooms across two stories.
The Ventura native, 31, has racked up plenty of frequent-flyer miles over the years, playing for eight different teams across eight seasons. He split time between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Chicago Bulls last season.
Jenny Morant of Coldwell banker Residential is the listing agent.
