Marc Anthony sells party-ready house in Encino
Marc Anthony continues to cut a swath with his real estate dealings, this time selling an amped-up home in Encino for $2.425 million.
Indoor and outdoor bars, a resort-like backyard, a home theater and a wine room are among features of the entertainment-oriented house. The contemporary Mediterranean, built in 1988, also features an art studio, a billiard room and a gym.
The master suite has a spa-like bathroom and a fireplace for a total of six bedrooms and nine bathrooms in 6,263 square feet of living space.
A swimming pool with a spa, a pool house, a gazebo and a fire pit complete the nearly half-acre of grounds.
Anthony, in his mid-40s, is a two-time Grammy winner and a five-time Latin Grammy winner. He is launching his own entertainment company, Magnus Media, with a focus on the Latino market.
The salsa singer is the ex of singer-actress Jennifer Lopez, who in late January listed a home in Hidden Hills that they had purchased together for sale at $17 million.
Anthony, married last year to model Shannon de Lima, bought a Tarzana home at the beginning of the year for $4.125 million.
The asking price on his Long Island estate was cut by $2.5 million this month to $9.5 million.
Anthony bought the Encino house two years ago for $2.225 million and listed it late last year at $2.75 million.
Andrew Mortaza and Bryan Castaneda of Keller Williams were the listing agents. Giselle Ramirez of Rodeo Realty represented the buyer.
