Outdoors, the grounds center on a resort-style swimming pool with a beach entry, a spa and a waterfall feature. A tennis court, patios, lawns and formal landscaping complete the setting.

The property had been listed for $2.45 million at the time of the sale. Craig Hulbert of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage was the listing agent, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

Jones Jr., 26, was a standout at Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga before attending UC Berkeley, where he earned an All-Pac-12 honorable mention in 2011. He caught 55 passes for 930 yards and four touchdowns for the Lions last year, his first with the team.
