Former U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen has chipped the price of his golf course home in Orlando, Fla., to about $2 million, down from $2.195 million last year.

The Traditional-style residence, built in 1993, sits on half an acre along the back nine of the Tom Fazio-designed golf course at the Lake Nona Golf and Country Club. Entered through a two-story foyer, formal interiors feature detailed molding, archways and tall windows centering on views of the 15th fairway and Buck Lake waterfront.

The nearly 6,200 square feet of living space includes a formal living room, dining room, chef’s kitchen, five bedrooms and 6½ baths. Set under a barrel-ceiling, the master suite sports wood cabinetry and an oversized shower. The family room and kitchen connect with a covered patio with an open-air pool and spa.

There’s also a three-car garage with obligatory golf cart storage.

The South African golfer, who has earned about $41 million for his career, has seven wins on the PGA Tour, including a pair of U.S. Open victories (2001, 2004). He finished third at the Frys.com Open in Napa in October.

Goosen originally put the home up for sale in 2012 with an asking price of $2.6 million, according to Celebrity Address Aerial. He paid $1.1 million for the property in 2001. Michael Clary of Lake Nona Realty holds the listing.

The 44-year-old moved to Windermere, Fla., outside Orlando in December 2012, purchasing a lakefront home inside the Isleworth Golf and Country Club for $3.5 million.
