ABC taps Lisa Berger to head alternative and late-night programming
Jimmy Kimmel has a new boss.
ABC has named Lisa Berger as its new executive vice president of alternative series, specials and late-night programming.
Berger most recently had been president of entertainment for the cable channel E! While there she oversaw the development or management of several of the network’s biggest shows, including “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” “The Girls Next Door” and “Chelsea Lately.”

Prior to E!, Berger had lengthy stints at Fox Broadcasting and MTV.
Berger succeeds John Saade, who left the network last week.
