Comedy Central’s after-party, a multi-room, indoor-outdoor affair at Hollywood’s Boulevard3, felt more collegial than a lot of similar events do. Maybe the conversations were better because of all the funny people in attendance?

In addition to Emmy winner Amy Schumer, who arrived with sis Kim Caramele around 9:30 p.m. and stayed for an hour, comics Blake Anderson, Andy Daly, John Hodgman, Jordan Klepper, Al Madrigal, the Lucas Brothers, Will Weldon, Shawn O’Connor, Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome were among the stand-up ranks braving the heat.

Guests’ attire ran the gamut from Emmys-appropriate tuxedos to cocktail garb to “I came straight from the writers room” casual.

Schumer had changed into a short white dress and -- smart girl -- flat sandals. Grabbing a slider or two and hanging with her posse, she stayed out of the limelight for the most part in a middle room that offered banquette seating and a short hop to one of the multiple bars.

The party crowd kept growing, with the teeny hamachi tacos and tangy katsu chicken crisps from Animal coming in ample supply, but where the heck were all the winners from “The Daily Show”?

Turns out -- shock of shocks in L.A. -- there was a transportation issue. According to “The Daily Show” writer Matt Koff, who noted that his Emmy was a lot heavier than he expected it would be, there was a problem with the limos set to take them from the Governors Ball to the Comedy Central party.

Once that was resolved, flocks of Emmy-toting winners flowed past the outdoor cabanas and water features and into the party just before 11 p.m.

With dozens of trophies going to “The Daily Show” show for its three wins for outstanding directing, outstanding writing and flat-out being outstanding in the variety-series arena, in addition to Schumer’s honor for her show, there was ultimately no shortage of shiny things on hand.

Guests were hot to step into photo booths sloganed “Going for gold in a town of plastic.” The shots were subsequently projected in stop-motion style on a screen above the DJ booth. Industry faces also included Trevor Noah, Chris Hardwick, Hasan Minhaj and Jessica Williams.

And the comedy continued through the party’s final touch. The wrapped-to-go breakfast sandwiches that were available on the way out bore the Comedy Central logo and some wise advice: “Share with your Uber driver.”
