People are protesting the rapper’s upcoming collection for Barney’s New York after two separate incidents where NYC police stopped a young African American to question his or her purchase from the department store. Leave it to Gaga to turn Twitter hate into self promotion. The same pop star who played recorded “boos” during her Video Music Awards performance this year took to Twitter to promote her most recent single, “Do What U Want,” using rancorous tweets as fodder. “LADY GAGA IS FAT NOW! #DoWhatUWantWithMyBody,” she wrote, pairing each insult with a lyric from her song. “”LADY GAGA IS A REDUCTIVE MADONNA COPY! Cee Lo Green pleaded not guilty to a felony count of furnishing a controlled substance, specifically MDMA, also known as ecstasy, to a woman in 2012. Prosecutors said Green allegedly slipped the drug in the drink of an unnamed woman, who said she later woke up in bed naked with no memory of how she ended up there. Despite what incessant gagging might foreshadow, the valiant Chenoweth stomached generous portions of blood pudding and haggis — that’s a mixture of fat, lamb’s liver and beef — during “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” all in the name of breast cancer research. The conditions: If the singer could keep down a generous bite of either, Leno would donate $1,500 to her charity. Double if she could do both.
