The reality TV star and the Cocaine Mafia rapper have been making public appearances together lately, despite their reported split back in September. The latest photo-op happened this weekend and saw the two celebrating Montana's 30th birthday in Los Angeles with the Kardashian clan in tow.
First, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star shared a romantic pic on Instagram wishing the "I Luh Ya Papi" rapper a happy birthday on Sunday.
"Happy birthday baby boy! In only a short amount of time we have created timeless memories. Happy birthday to a man who genuinely lives life to its fullest. 'What's understood doesn't need to be explained' @frenchmontana I can't wait to celebrate life with you tonight! You deserve it!!" the 30-year-old captioned the sensuous beach snap.
Kardashian, who is still mired in her divorce proceedings with basketball star Lamar Odom, began casually dating Kanye West's collaborator in the spring, until they reportedly called off the relationship last month. At the time, several reports also indicated the couple might simply be taking a break.
But it looks like some people didn't appreciate the forthright celeb's shout-out, which prompted Kardashian to address the haters on Twitter.
"I guess some people don't have genuine love for people anymore. Blows my mind how critical human beings are these days. Love is love!," she wrote, adding, "Some of yall need a hug."
If they are on the outs, which doesn't seem to be the case, Kardashian gave the Morocco-born emcee a peek at what he might be missing by wearing a one-shouldered dress with a slit that went high on her hip.
Her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner as well as mom Kris Jenner and her rumored new beau Corey Gamble joined Sunday's festivities, which also attracted mogul Diddy and rapper Snoop Dogg. Kim and Kylie also posted their share of snapshots from the event, with similar birthday wishes.
Montana, real name Karim Kharbouch, also joined Khloe's sister Kendall Jenner's 19th birthday celebration last week. His summer fling with the Kardashian Kollection designer is currently being showcased on E!'s "Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons." Post-split, Montana said that he and Kardashian were in a good place.
"You know, like every relationship, you break up, you make up," the Moroccan-born emcee said on "The Wendy Williams Show" earlier this month. "Right now we're on real good terms."
"We're in a real special zone," he added. "She's going to be my baby forever."
Last week, Kardashian told E! News that she wasn't dating anyone but did address her relationship status with French.
"We're hanging out," she said. "I don't think there's a title or anything…I don't know what to say any more, because people go up and down in relationships. Sometimes you're there and sometimes you're not."
A rep for Kardashian did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
