La Toya Jackson does a killer Oprah Winfrey impression

La Toya Jackson has an impersonation of Oprah Winfrey and WOW is it on target!

Jackson, whose engagement to longtime business partner Jeffré Phillips was confirmed last week, told the crew at Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family” on Friday that she’d developed the bit during a celebrity guest-star stint with “NEWSical the Musical” last fall.

And why not? After all, the 58-year-old’s reality show “Life With La Toya,” which started a new season last week, runs on Oprah’s OWN network.

Still, Jackson was initially reluctant.

“It was one of those things where ... they asked if I could do [an impression] and I said, ‘No, I don’t think I can ...,’” the singer said, noting that her voice was much higher than the TV mogul’s.

“Oprah has that little body-full voice ... that baritone. I said, ‘There’s no way I could do it.’” Jackson was, however, finally talked into giving it a shot.

The video also gives a peek at Jackson’s 17.5-carat engagement ring, which she was presented with 10 months ago in Hawaii. It had been hidden under her dessert tray the night her now-fiancee proposed, People reported last week. (Must’ve been one heck of a dessert tray.)

“I was in total shock,” she told the magazine. “We’re best friends and we’ve been business partners forever. It was always professional –- no one really crossed those boundaries.”

Phillips had approached papa Joe Jackson for his permission in advance of the proposal, swearing him to secrecy. And of course, it was all captured on camera for the show.

“Seems funny to me that he hasn’t asked he before,” Joe Jackson told cameras.

La Toya Jackson told the New York Daily News last week that her second wedding -- the first marriage, to Jack Gordon, was annulled -- will be in line with her massive engagement rock.

“It’s going to be bigger than Kim [Kardashian]’s,” she said. “It’ll be bigger than anything, huge. Lots of people, all of it.”
