Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino is ordered into anger management
Mike Sorrentino has cut a deal regarding a simple assault charge he picked up after a fight with his brother Frank last month outside the family’s New Jersey tanning salon.
On Monday, the “Jersey Shore” alum was ordered by a judge to attend 12 weeks of anger-management classes, the Associated Press reported. In three months the court will revisit the case and if Sorrentino has completed his assignment the assault charge might be downgraded.
“It’s almost like you take it back to when you were younger,” the reality TV star told Splash cameras as he left court, when asked if he and Frank were all good now. “Every family argued; that’s how it goes.”
Mike earned a black eye when the Sorrentino brothers tangled June 17, -- but it didn’t come from Frank. It was actually a slug from his mother, Linda.
“She got him with a left,” brother Marc Sorrentino told E! News. “Mom’s the tough one.”
The Situation, who’s currently starring with his family in “The Sorrentinos” on TV Guide Network, explained that situation a bit more on Monday.
“My mom was just trying to break it up,” he said. Didn’t stop him, however, from being more than a little ticked off about the damage to his moneymaker in the immediate aftermath of the brawl.
