Nick Jonas only wishes his armpits were as photogenic as Miley Cyrus’
Miley Cyrus was Nick Jonas’ sweat-inducing “first crush.”
Nick Jonas posted a 10-year-old throwback photo of himself with "first crush" Miley Cyrus, calling attention to his own pitted-out underarms in what we like to think of as a subtle nod to her Year of the Armpit.
"When you're 13... hanging with your first crush and you're trying to play it cool. #wheresmydeodorant," he captioned the shot, failing to mention the perhaps more significant nostalgia inherent in his long curly hair, which he buzzed off in 2012 after a turn on Broadway, then shaved off in 2014 for "Kingdom," then cropped again in June.
There was, of course, no specific mention of Miley's underarms, which have spent considerably more time in the spotlight than Nick's have.
Though she rarely wears enough clothing to show hers pitting out, in recent months Miley has flaunted hers and bleached hers.
Dyed hers pink.
And waxed hers off.
And of course, in the hair-on-the-head department, though she's recently been rocking various lengths and colors of dreadlocks, Miley has followed Nick in taking the shorter road.
But it's heartening to see she's been throwing that peace sign consistently for a long, long time.
