Lookin’ good, O! Oprah Winfrey is showcasing her recent dramatic weight loss on the April incarnation of her magazine, where she shares the cover’s tri-fold spotlight with nine real-life readers, all of whom are making an effort to get fit and healthy.

“This month I join forces with a legion of women, all of us declaring a win-win for our bodies and ourselves,” Winfrey says in O’s Your Best Body issue. “Because I know this for sure: With age comes the understanding and appreciation of your most important asset, your health.”

Winfrey shows off her cinched waistline in a black top and black and red Michael Kors Collection skirt. Inside the mag, she poses in a bright red body-con dress by Diane Von Furstenberg.

The 62-year-old’s latest body-conscious focus comes hand-in-hand with her Weight Watchers profile: In October, she announced a 10% stake in the company, sending the stock surging from $6.79 then to a high of $26.61 in mid-November — though it has dropped big time in the months since. Even with the decline, however, her $43.2-million worth of shares are now worth more than twice what she paid for them.

Winfrey announced in January that since starting the program, she’d already lost 26 pounds without having to cut out her favorite food: bread.

“Gone, for me, are the days of wanting to be thin to fit into anything other than my best body and best life,” she says in the magazine.

She notes that she feels “vibrant and charged up for all the great ventures and adventures” she knows are coming.

“Every day offers a new chance to embrace the wonder of being alive. And believe me, I do. I pay attention to the tiniest things ... Another spring, new life. Nature changes herself yet again. We can change ourselves, too — blossoming into better habits,” she adds.

The April issue of O hits newsstands March 15.
