Hollywood Headlines: A crazy week in review

The hip-hop world was mourning the loss of M-Bone, real name Montae Talbert, this week. Lady Gaga is officially back on the market, but she left it up to fans to figure out she’d split from New York bartender-drummer Luc Carl. In true Gagaloo fashion, she showed up on “The Graham Norton Show” donning a wedding gown, but when the BBC host pressed her for details about her love life, she answered, “no boyfriend,” confessing, “I’m miserably pathetic in my wedding dress.” You do the math.  (Nick Ansell / Associated Press)

Actor Jeff Conaway is struggling to stay alive. The actor slipped into a coma after an apparent drug overdose and has yet to regain consciousness. Friends like “Celebrity Rehab” costar Mackenzie Phillips are rallying for the actor, best known for playing Kenickie in the movie “Grease” and Danny Zuko in the Broadway production. She recently tweeted, “all say a prayer (or whatever works 4 you) for Jeff Conaway tonight.”

As Oprah’s final season winds down, the thrills ramp up. This week she had some of her favorite things on the show: her friends. Rounding out the star-studded stage were Maya Angelou, Tom Cruise, Will Smith (above with wife Jada Pinkett Smith) and, of course, Gayle King.
