Bones: In last season’s finale, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) stunned Booth (David Boreanaz) when she revealed that she was pregnant with his child. Tonight’s season premiere picks up with the new couple well into Brennan’s pregnancy and seeing the world from radically different perspectives (9 p.m. Fox).

The Mentalist: While searching for a serial killer, Jane (Simon Baker) crosses paths with a blogger (David Paymer) who has devoted his life to finding this murderer. Robin Tunney also stars in this new episode, which Baker directed (10 p.m. CBS).

Burn Notice: In the season premiere, Michael and Fiona (Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar) go to Puerto Rico to abduct a financial hacker who has software they need for Anson (Jere Burns) (10 p.m. USA).

The Truth Behind: The Loch Ness Monster: In this new special, modern technology, eyewitness testimony and psychological testing are used to dive into the mystery of Scotland’s legendary Loch Ness Monster (7 and 10 p.m. National Geographic).
