Golden Globes 2015: Watch the nominations

Share

The Golden Globe nominations took place Thursday morning, with "Birdman" receiving seven nominations to lead the field.

Kate Beckinsale, Peter Krause, Paula Patton and Jeremy Piven were on hand to announce the nominees for the 72nd installment of the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn.'s awards, which have come to be seen as an indicator of what might be in the running for the Oscars.

The announcement from the group of roughly 90 overseas journalists comes on the heels of the Screen Actors Guild Award nominations on Wednesday, the NAACP Image Award nominations on Tuesday and a number of critics' groups honors.

The Golden Globe Awards take place Jan. 11, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting for their third -- and, according to them, last -- time.
