‘X Factor’ vs. ‘Voice’: Join our discussion of the finales [Google+ Hangout]

Share

On “The X Factor,” country singer Tate Stevens won Season 2, edging out teenager Carly Rose Sonenclar, who came in second, and the girl group Fifth Harmony on Thursday night. Two days earlier on “The Voice,” pop-rock singer Cassadee Pope emerged as the Season 3 winner over Scottish rocker Terry McDermott and Minnesota soul singer Nicholas David.

Join Times staff writers Todd Martens and Gerrick Kennedy as they discuss the finales of the two competitions and who they thought was the best singer -- regardless of who actually won -- in a Google+ Hangout right here at 10:30 a.m. Pacific.

In our completely nonscientific survey below, you’ll see that readers picked Sonenclar as their top singer, just slightly ahead of Pope. And later in the day, look for our interactive wrap-up of who delivered the best performances on both shows.
