In August, the Greek Theatre hosted more concerts than Staples Center, the Forum, Nokia Theatre and Hollywood Palladium -- combined.

With more than 20 shows during the last full month of summer, it was the theater’s busiest month in more than a decade and a far cry from the nine shows the venue hosted in August of last year.

Chicago, Michael McDonald, Sara Bareilles, John Legend, Counting Crows and Panic! at the Disco were among the performers that helped propel the hillside venue to a new record. Here’s a breakdown of the Greek’s busy August.
