Listen to Lady Gaga’s new song ‘Aura’

With only a month to go until the release of her new album, Lady Gaga is putting the promotional engine into overdrive -- so much so that now she’s promoting things other than “Artpop.”

The singer late Wednesday posted a video for her song “Aura,” which is expected to be the first track on “Artpop,” due Nov. 11. (It comes two months after she released the album’s lead single, “Applause.”)

But though the clip is billed as a lyric video, it feels more like an extended trailer for “Machete Kills,” the Robert Rodriguez film set to open Friday; at certain points it’s actually hard to hear “Aura” -- a thumping dance track produced by the German EDM star Zedd -- for all the movie dialogue jammed into the thing. (Lady Gaga has a small role in “Machete Kills,” which helps explain what’s going on here.)

In other beast-feeding news, the singer on Wednesday night also revealed “Artpop’s” track list with a stunt in which her fans painted murals of the song’s titles on a wall outside L.A.’s Record Plant studio (or something along those lines).

According to a series of retweets from Lady Gaga, “Artpop” will look like this:

1. “Aura”

2. “Venus”

3. “G.U.Y.”

4. “Sexxx Dreams”

5. “Jewels ‘n’ Drugs,” featuring T.I., Too Short and Twista

6. “Manicure”

7. “Do What U Want,” featuring R. Kelly

8. “Artpop”

9. “Swine”

10. “Donatella”

11. “Fashion!”

12. “Mary Jane Holland”

13. “Dope”

14. “Gypsy”

15. “Applause”
