Remember when Keanu Reeves was a surfer dude or a goofy guy in “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure?” No? Well, he’s put those days behind him. The fun smile? Gone. The laugh? Lips sealed. Air guitar? Silent.
It’s long been noted that Reeves is a little less emotive than many would care for in a leading man. His role as a planet-killing alien in “The Day the Earth Stood Still” played into that, and indeed, took advantage of his stony talents. Keanu the giver
In this photo...what? Oh, sorry! I just got lost in Keanu’s eyes for a second. You know you did too.
At an AFI event at ArcLight Cinemas Hollywood, Keanu gave fans his autograph. Then he gave them what they really wanted: that stone-faced stare. (Alberto E. Rodriguez / Getty Images for AFI)
