It takes more than a nasty mosquito-borne illness to keep superstar George Clooney down. The actor reveals that he's dealing with a bout of malaria -- his second incidence of the disease -- which he contracted while doing charity work in Sudan.

"I guess the mosquito in Juba looked at me and thought I was the bar," Clooney jokes with Piers Morgan in an interview to air on January 21.

Morgan released the news of Clooney's illness in a tweet promoting the interview. Soon after, Morgan tweeted "Clooney malaria update: now have 24,563 offers to nurse him. But his rep says medication's worked and he's OK. Sorry, ladies."
