Conan O’Brien made history this year by becoming the first American talk-show host to film in Cuba in more than 50 years. He’s planning another historic trip, taking “Conan” to Armenia.

TBS announced Monday that O’Brien will be the first American late-night host to take his show to the Eurasian nation, formerly part of the Soviet Union, in an episode that will air Nov. 10.

The journey was inspired by O’Brien’s longtime assistant, Sona Movsesian, who is of Armenian descent but has never been to the country.

“I think it’s every boss’s responsibility to take their assistant back to their ancestral land,” joked O’Brien in a news release. “That’s why I’m going to make sure my next assistant was born in a five-star resort in Tuscany.”

O’Brien also broadcast a week of shows from San Diego Comic Con in July.

In Armenia, fans can expect O’Brien to make a fool of himself with the locals and to crack a few Kardashian jokes.
