Hulu has ordered another comedy series, and this time it's a starring vehicle for Billy Eichner -- better known for his man-on-the-street comedy series "Billy on the Street."
"Difficult People," created by comedy writer and "Billy on the Street" producer Julie Klausner, stars Klausner and Eichner as best friends in New York City who find themselves getting involved in all kinds of awkward situations.
The series will be executive produced by Klausner, Amy Poehler and "Louie" producer Dave Becky and is expected to go into production sometime next year.
"Difficult People" is Hulu's latest original series announced in the last few months. It joins "Casual," to be executive produced by Jason Reitman, and "11/22/63," executive produced by J.J. Abrams based on Stephen King's novel.
Eichner was nominated for an Emmy as outstanding game show host last year for "Billy on the Street," the Funny or Die Web short that has the comedian running around the streets of Manhattan asking questions of unsuspecting passersby.
