‘Sons of Anarchy’ rides again Sept. 10 with 90-minute episode

FX’s “Sons of Anarchy,” about a group of law-breaking bikers, will rev up for its sixth season Sept. 10 with a special 90-minute episode.
The drama, which is the cable network’s highest-rated series, stars Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman and Katey Sagal. Both Hunnam and Perlman are currently featured in Guillermo del Toro’s epic sci-fi movie “Pacific Rim.”
The series’ sixth season attracted an average of 6.4 million viewers.
“Sons of Anarchy” revolves around an outlaw motorcycle club’s desire to protect its livelihood while insuring that its home base of Charming, Calif., remains ... charming.
