Kim Kardashian, Kanye West kick off wedding festivities
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been in Paris for about week, prepping for their wedding this weekend.
After having a $500 vegan stem cell facial before leaving the U.S., Kardashian has spent time with family and friends, worked out, shopped, snapped pix at the Eiffel Tower, received deliveries of garment bags from Valentino, and celebrated her bachelorette Thursday with dinner and sightseeing with friends and sisters Khloe, Kendall and Kylie.
On Friday, West, Kardashian and family had brunch at fashion designer Valentino Garvani’s Paris mansion.
Then they headed to the Palace of Versailles to host a private party. But is the party going to turn into the wedding? According to TMZ, both Versailles and the 16th century Fort Belvedere in Florence, Italy, have been set up like wedding venues. So maybe there will be two ceremonies?
Whether it turns out to be one wedding or two, it’s definitely among the most notable weddings of the 21st century. Not all worked out so well -- including Kardashian’s much-hyped marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries in 2011, which lasted 72 days.
People magazine reportedly paid $1.5 million to run the wedding photos that time around. This time, there is reportedly still a bidding war going on for photos, says the Daily News, but Kardashian and West may be reluctant to sell them, according to a source, because of the embarrassment factor after the Humphries-Kardashian match fizzled.
