Fashion designer and reality TV star Lauren Conrad married William Tell in Santa Ynez, Calif., on Saturday. Conrad designed her bridesmaids’ dresses, but no word so far on her own gown. [Hollywood Life]

Urban Outfitters raised hackles when its website over the weekend offered a $129 vintage Kent State sweatshirt that appeared to be spattered with blood. The garment soon sold and was posted for sale on EBay with an opening bid of $550. On Monday, Urban Outfitters issued an apology, saying, “The red stains are discoloration from the original shade of the shirt.” [Washington Post]

Fashion designer John Galliano, still crafting his comeback after he was fired by Christian Dior in 2011 for making ethnic slurs while drinking, on Sunday made his first French television appearance since the scandal. A video that caught his offensive behavior saved his life, he said. “I would be dead. ... That was what you call rock bottom.” He said he is in the midst of “a return back into creativity ... step by step.” [WWD]

Designer Jean Paul Gaultier is getting out of ready-to-wear and his Paris Fashion Week show Sept. 27 will be his last, WWD reports. He plans to focus on couture, fragrance and other parts of his business. [WWD]
