Will Kendall Jenner become a Victoria’s Secret angel?

Is Kendall Jenner next in line to become a Victoria’s Secret angel?

According to In Touch Weekly, the lingerie company would like to sign Kendall, whose career as a runway model is really taking off.

The daughter of Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner and half-sister of the famous Kardashians, Kendall has said she’s dropping her last name so people won’t think her family is the reason for her modeling success. (That didn’t stop mom Kim Jenner, sister Kim Kardashian West, brother-in-law Kanye West and even tiny niece North from watching her walk in some of the shows during the just ended Paris Fashion Week.)

In fact, this fashion week season, she had success aplenty. She modeled for houses including Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger and Diane von Furstenberg in New York; Emilio Pucci and Dolce & Gabbana in Milan; and Chanel, Balmain, Sonia Rykiel and Givenchy in Paris.

She’s also pictured -- along with angels and former angels Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss and Candice Swanepoel -- in a book called “Angels” by longtime Victoria’s Secret photographer Russell James that’s due out later this month.

Could that be a clue? Maybe. Or maybe not.

James told the Huffington Post in an interview posted Wednesday that he’s known Jenner for two years, and first shot her for Vogue Australia.

“I didn’t want to put her in the book for any controversial reasons,” James said in the interview, “but I knew it would mean so much to her to be included, and I feel that she is that caliber of girl. The way I tried to portray her in the book is the way I see her – innocent and pure and not overtly sexual.”

Whether she ends up as a Victoria’s Secret angel or not, it’s clear after this fashion season that her career, at least, has wings.
