Forget about subtle makeup. For this holiday season, embrace gloss, glitz and shimmer

Stash those muted eye shadows and barely there lip glosses. For this holiday season, beauty brands want shoppers to forget subtle and embrace gloss, glitz and shimmer — with products often in gift-ready packaging.

From micro-tubs of frosted eye creams to lip colors in metallic mauve, it’s the season of bling in beauty.
