Kanye West’s Air Yeezy 2s for sale on Walmart.com for $6,499

It’s not uncommon to see a pair of Kanye West sneakers — whether produced by Adidas or Nike — on a site like EBay or Stadium Goods. But walmart.com isn’t typically a source for rare sneakers.
But that’s exactly where one re-seller decided to sell a pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2s, in the “Red October” colorway, which are currently going for $6,499.
These sneakers, originally retailed for $250, were surprise released on nike.com in February 2014. They marked West’s last collaboration with the brand before a tumultuous split, which led him to partner with Adidas.
West, who will perform at Madison Square Garden for the Saint Pablo tour on Monday and Tuesday, recently launched a series of temporary stores globally that sold “Life of Pablo” merchandise. The Yeezy Season 4 collection is expected to show during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday.
