Rachel Zoe brings fashion to the Bumble Hive; Milly puts the finishing touches on its pop-up at Fred Segal

If you’ve ever dreamed of having stylist-turned-designer Rachel Zoe pick out looks for you, here’s your chance, but you might have to call out of work Thursday afternoon for the experience.

Zoe will be on hand for an event at the Bumble Hive in Los Angeles, which is open to people who have the social-dating-and-business-networking app downloaded to their phones. Following a scheduled talk about entrepreneurship, Zoe will share styling tips and then help women who want to dip into the spring 2018 offerings from Zoe’s eponymous brand, which, she said, will be on-site and “instantly shoppable.”

“This season was inspired by all of the multi-hyphenate women in my life that always need to look their best,” said Zoe, adding that the pieces will feature “feminine prints and carefree yet bold silhouettes.” A happy hour will follow all of the fashion moments. Entry is free.

Milly X Fred Segal

New York-based women’s brand Milly will open its West Coast pop-up at Fred Segal in West Hollywood on March 22.

New York fashion brand Milly will unveil its new pop-up space at Fred Segal’s Sunset Boulevard store on March 22. For the six-week pop-up, shoppers will find the label’s signature vibrant colors, sexy draped dresses and knife-pleat textures — all from its women’s spring/summer 2018 Wildflower collection.

Michelle Smith, Milly co-founder and creative director, said she “curated an exclusive capsule” for women, pulling from pleated dresses, bustier tops, tanks and hoodies from Milly’s extensive collection of daytime looks, eveningwear and swim offerings. (Milly also has a children’s line.) Dresses at the pop-up will go from $400 to $700; tops are $200, while hoodies, tanks and T-shirts go from $80 to $120.

Smith, who trained at the Paris ateliers of Dior and Hermès, said she thinks of the Milly brand as “fun and irreverent and with a Californian vibe.”

Rodarte

Details are deliberately being kept secret for a sample sale Thursday and Friday by hip Los Angeles brand Rodarte, which has legions of devoted — and if the moment calls for it, well-heeled — followers. We asked, but Rodarte representatives weren’t sharing what the brand will sell, what sizes will be offered, what the discounts will be like or where the sale is being staged. (Just know, a Rodarte dress might cost several thousand of dollars or more at retail. For example, a pink polka-dot flocked tulle ruffle gown from the label’s spring/summer 2018 collection was selling for $12,888 on MatchesFashion.com earlier Thursday.) However, if you’d like to find out more details, you have to pony up your email address by sending a message to info@rodarte.net.

Nicky Hilton X Tolani

Mommy-and-me offerings — this one is in silk — are the foundation of a new fashion collaboration between Nicky Hilton and Tolani.

If that’s not enough fashion activity for the week, start the weekend with a trunk show at Kitson Kitross in Los Angeles. That’s where Nicky Hilton will show her new fashion collaboration with the Tolani brand. You’ll find tunics, strapless dresses and easy-wear printed shorts, and here’s the hook: Every piece will be available for young girls and their mothers, aunts, grandmas or guardians. Prices are $89 to $139 for girls and $175 to $275 for women.
