Events: Fido’s first food truck, LA Craft Beer Crawl, DeSano pizza class

Milo’s Kitchen, a California-based dog treat company, is hopping on the food truck bandwagon with Milo’s Kitchen Treat Truck. The truck is selling treats exclusively for man’s best friend and will be visiting several dog parks around Los Angeles starting Thursday. Dogs can choose from a selection of treats including chicken meatballs and grilled burger bites, all with 100% domestically-sourced meat and no artificial colors or flavors. Milo’s truck is also offering a photo booth for pets and owners alike and a “lapdog lounge” for canine socialization. The truck has planned to make stops in Santa Monica, Huntington Beach and Redondo Beach, with surprise stops announced on Twitter. Cedd Moses of 213 Ventures and the Beer Chicks, Hallie Beaune and Christina Perozzi, are collaborating once again for the LA Craft Beer Crawl on Aug. 9 from 3 to 7 p.m. The festival will feature over 100 craft beers, including El Segundo Brewing, Strand Brewing, Monkish Brewing, Allagash Brewing, Goose Island Beer, Eagle Rock Brewery, Big Sky Brewing, Stone Brewing, Duvel, Hangar 24, Coronado Brewing, Firestone Walker, Los Angeles Ale Works, Ladyface Ale Companie, TAPS Fish House & Brewery, Figueroa Mountain Brewing and more. Casey’s Irish Pub, Cole’s, Pellicola Pizzeria and the Grilled Cheese Truck will offer a break from the brews at the fest with some grub. Check-in and entry will be at Casey’s Irish Pub, where guests will be provided a map to plan and navigate the crawl route. DeSano Pizza Bakery is hosting a hands-on Neapolitan pizza-making class July 12 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Master pizzaiolo Massimo DiLascio has over 20 years of pizza-making experience and will teach the class. The event is $40, and includes DiLascio’s instruction, pie-tasting throughout the day and pizza dough to take home.
