Brew at the L.A. Zoo
This Friday, walk, talk and drink with the animals at Brew at the L.A. Zoo from 6 to 10 p.m. The event highlights local craft beers including Golden Road, Firestone Walker, North Coast Brewing, Hanger 24 and more. Attendees will receive a 4.5-ounce tasting glass and 14 drink tickets to sample beers from over 20 different breweries. Food such as grilled brats, sliders, kettle corn and funnel cakes will be available for purchase.
The zoo’s animal exhibits will remain open during the event and guests can view the elephants, koalas, apes, and the new LAIR (living amphibians invertebrates and reptiles).
In addition, comedians from the Laugh Factory and DJ Morningstar will be performing at the event. Tickets are available online and begin at $40 per person (designated driver tickets are $20). A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the zoo.
