Cirque School info

Cirque School LA is at 5640½ Hollywood Blvd. Classes run seven days a week, beginner to advanced, in areas such as contortion, aerial hoop, trapeze tricks, handstands and hand balancing, and aerial fitness and conditioning.

A Cirque 101 Fit, Flex or Fly class is $25. Trick classes are $35. (Packages are cheaper.) Private classes are $90 for one, $100 for two and $120 for three.

New students begin with Aerial Fitness and Conditioning classes and graduate to higher levels when teachers judge that they are ready. Children’s workshops are held Thursdays and Saturdays. For those who want a live taste of Cirque School, a student showcase is this weekend: 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
