Pottery Barn Kids rolls out Dr. Seuss collection

On Jan. 9, Pottery Barn Kids stores are rolling out a line of Dr. Seuss-themed furnishings for the bedroom and bathroom. Inspired by the author who said, “A person’s a person, no matter how small,” the collection includes limited-edition prints ($89 each) and a Cat in the Hat wall decal ($129). “Dr. Seuss is universally known for bringing imaginations to life through its colorful illustrations and whimsical characters,” spokeswoman Sarah Lynam said, and indeed, some items such as the bed quilt ($159 twin, $189 full/queen) incorporate the vibrant palette and patterns familiar to Seuss readers (think the red-and-white-striped gear donned by the Cat in the Hat). Other pieces, including sheets, shams and shower curtains, are emblazoned with Horton, the Fox in Socks and the swimming characters of “One Fish, Two Fish.” Click through for more pictures.
