I cover a beat best described as Technology and the Economy. Issues that fall into this broad-ranging beat include offshoring, education, intellectual property and IT job trends. I also cover venture capital and initial public offerings in the technology domain. Though the topic areas are data-intensive, I very much welcome comments and personal stories--both positive and negative--from people whose lives are affected by these macro-economic sweeps.
