Steve Poizner
Poizner is a technology entrepreneur who made a fortune after the company he founded, SnapTrak Inc., was sold to Qualcomm for a reported $1 billion. He has been active in the charter schools movement and ran unsuccessfully for the Assembly in 2004. He helped lead the unsuccessful effort in 2005 for Proposition 77 to overhaul how legislative districts are drawn. He is considered a moderate.
