On the set of “Rudy,” Vince befriended fellow struggling actor Jon Favreau. At the time, Jon was working on the ‘Swingers” script and decided to write a part for his new friend, Vince. (Kevin Winter / Getty Images)

Vince went on to play Norman Bates in Gus Van Sant’s mediocre, forgettable, shot-for-shot remake of “Psycho.” It was time for him to go back to what he did best: play a philandering, fast-talking party boy. (Universal)
“Vegas, baby! Vegas!”

Vince starred in a series of comedic hits alongside Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Steve Carell, and Owen and Luke Wilson. After “Old School,” the crew came to be known as the “Frat Pack,” with Vince as the leader.

While filming a movie in Wilmington, N.C., Vaughn demonstrated his rowdy side by getting into a bar brawl. Following the incident, Vaughn was banned from bars in the city, ordered to undergo alcohol assessment, and fined $250. (Jamie Squire / Getty Images)
‘All I do is stare at their mouths and wrinkle my nose, and I turn out to be a sweetheart.’

When it comes to women, this notorious bad boy has a less-than-perfect reputation. Vaughn once said, “If I’m not interested in a woman, I’m straightforward. Right after sex, I usually say, ‘I can’t do this anymore. Thanks for coming over!’”
