A new look for latimes.com

Share

Dear readers:

Today you’ll notice a different-looking latimes.com. Most notable is our “new” flag, a gothic font that readers have associated with the Los Angeles Times for years. The change reflects that the Los Angeles Times is one news organization with multiple platforms. Our designers think it lends a cleaner, more balanced look to the site. We hope you agree.

You’ll also find new navigation tools at the bottom of most pages on the site. Registered readers will find their registration name at the top of each page where they can log in and out easily.

These changes herald many other improvements that are coming to latimes.com, including the launch of a local entertainment guide, upgrades to our entertainment section, improved search capabilities, more e-mail newsletter options and enhanced mobile services.
