Home Depot: An article in the Nov. 16 Business section about Home Depot Inc.’s quarterly earnings misidentified the company’s chief executive as Robert Niblock. Niblock is the chief executive of Lowe’s Cos. Frank Blake is Home Depot’s chief executive. It was Blake, not Niblock, who said: “In the U.S. we still don’t see and we don’t expect to see in the near term any meaningful tail wind from the housing market. Inventories remain high. Pricing is under pressure, and credit is still difficult.”
Underground Seattle: An information box accompanying the article “History Hidden in Seattle’s Basement” in the Nov. 13 Travel section should have included Virgin America in the list of air carriers with service to Seattle.
Parents’ school group: In the Nov. 13 LATExtra section, an article about Educate Our State, a parent organizing network working for education reforms, misspelled the last name of Palo Alto attorney Nancy Krop as Crop.
Federal jail funds: An article in the Nov. 16 LATExtra section about federal reimbursements to states for the incarceration of illegal immigrants misspelled the last name of House Appropriations Committee spokeswoman Jennifer Hing as Hinge.
Detroit arts: An article about Detroit’s arts scene in the Nov. 13 Travel section misspelled the last name of artist and gallery director Simone DeSousa as DeSouza.
