Confidential Lounge: In an article in the Nov. 18 Calendar section about a newly opened lounge in Beverly Hills, a production error caused several names to be changed. Actor Alain Delon’s name was misspelled Aloin Delos; partner Sasha Poparic’s name was misspelled Sashay Polaris; DJ Avicii’s name was misspelled Vici; and DJ David Guetta’s last name was misspelled Gutta.

Starz: A Nov. 18 article in Business about premium cable channel Starz’s digital plans said President Chris Albrecht was considering making Starz available to high-speed Internet customers who don’t subscribe to other cable channels. In fact, Albrecht, at an investor conference, was discussing a scenario in which people might pay for numerous channels, including Starz, over the Internet instead of through traditional cable television, a spokeswoman said Friday. In addition, the article said Liberty Media would fold Starz’s stock into its own. Liberty Starz and Liberty Capital are being combined into a single company with a new stock.

Penn State football: In the Nov. 13 Sports section, the caption with a photo of a kneeling Penn State football player that accompanied an article on the school’s loss to Nebraska misidentified the player as backup quarterback Rob Bolden. The player pictured was backup quarterback Shane McGregor.

Parents’ school group: In the Nov. 13 Section A, an article about Educate Our State, a parent organizing network working for education reforms, misspelled the last name of Palo Alto attorney Nancy Krop as Crop.

L.A. Philharmonic: A review in the Nov. 19 Calendar of the Los Angeles Philharmonic concert with guest conductor Emmanuelle Haïm said the program included Handel’s Concerto Grosso, Opus 6, No. 3. It was Handel’s Concerto Grosso, Opus 6, No. 1.
