“Smoke and Mirrors”: In the Aug. 1 Calendar section, a Weekend Picks listing for “Smoke and Mirrors” said that the magic production was playing Saturdays and Sundays at Promenade Playhouse. “Smoke and Mirrors” is playing at The Road on Lankershim in North Hollywood, at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays.

Environmental tour: In the July 28 California section, an article about a tour that an environmental group gives in Southern California incorrectly reported that dog and horse carcasses were visible at Baker Commodities, a rendering company in Vernon. The carcasses were seen at another company’s facility that is located across the street.

3-D printing: In the July 28 Business section, an article about 3-D printers said the U.S. market for the devices totaled $1.8 billion in 2008. The correct amount is $1.18billion.

Homeowners associations: In the July 28 Business section, a column about homeowners associations said that Civil Code section 7231 imposes a requirement on each association board director to serve in good faith and in a manner that the director reasonably believes to be in the best interest of the association. That requirement is contained in Corporations Code section 7231.
