Lee Hazlewood: A review of the album “There’s a Dream I’ve Been Saving 1966-1971: Lee Hazlewood Industries” in the Dec. 17 Calendar section said that Hazlewood co-wrote and produced guitarist Link Wray’s instrumental “Rumble.” He didn’t. It was Duane Eddy’s instrumental “Rebel-’Rouser” that he co-wrote.

Concrete news pages: An article in the Dec. 24 LATExtra section about Leon Rudek, who rendered front pages of the Los Angeles Times in concrete, was accompanied by a caption that said Rudek died in 1991. As the story noted, Rudek retired from The Times in 1991 and died 11 years later.

“The Naked City”: An article in the Dec. 23 Calendar section about “The Naked City” being released on DVD said that each episode of the 1958-63 TV series began with the narrator saying, “There are 8 million stories in the Naked City. This has been one of them.” That narration came at the end of each episode, not the beginning.
