Regarding grower-producer Champagne: Most fine wine shops carry a small, well-selected group of grower-producer wines, but a few shops in Southern California are renowned for their depth. That is especially true of Wine Expo in Santa Monica, which has probably the best selection of such wines in California. Otherwise, head to the Wine Hotel, the Wine House, Woodland Hills Wine Co., the Wine Country, Hi-Time Wine Cellars or Flask Fine Wines for exceptional selections of Agrapart, Pierre Gimonnet, Paul Bara, Larmandier-Bernier, Jean Milan, Camille Savès and their ilk.
