Earthquake: 3.4 quake strikes near Napa

A shallow magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Sunday morning four miles from Napa, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 1:56 a.m. PDT at a depth of 6.2 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was seven miles from Sonoma and 50 miles from Sacramento.

In the last 10 days, there have been six earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
