Body found in water near Point Fermin Park in San Pedro

A man was found dead in the water near Point Fermin Park in San Pedro on Thursday, according to police officials.
The body of an adult male was pulled from the water about 4 p.m. and airlifted to shore, said LAPD Lt. Eric W. Holyfield with the Harbor Division.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, Holyfield said.
He could not provide the man’s name or age.
