Authorities are trying to determine what caused a fast-moving fire that gutted “Twilight” saga star Ashley Greene’s West Hollywood condominium and killed her dog.

The star, her boyfriend and her brother were in the third-floor unit of Granville Towers when the fire broke out, according to KTLA News. Witnesses told the station that they saw black smoke coming from the building and ran outside.

Three people were treated for smoke inhalation, KTLA said.

Flames engulfed the unit in the building in the 1400 block of Crescent Heights Boulevard about 9:30 a.m.

Fifty-five firefighters responded to the two-alarm blaze, which was doused in under half an hour.

Residents of the building say it was built in 1929 and had been home to several movie stars, including Mickey Rourke, David Bowie and Rock Hudson.

No one in Greene’s apartment was hurt, though officials said the unit itself was completely burned by the fire.
