Police investigate fatal shooting of man in Baldwin Park

Police in Baldwin Park are investigating the fatal shooting of a man, they said Friday.
The man, who has not been publicly identified, was found in the 4700 block of Merced Avenue at 8:38 p.m., according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the release, “The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.”
