Reader photo: Sunset at the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro

Driving across the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro at sunset, Aydin Palabiyikoglu photographed this scene with his HTC Amaze 4G phone on July 21. He had a camera in his trunk but he used his phone instead so he wouldn’t miss this moment, he said. He adds that if you have favorable light and know what you’re doing, you don’t need expensive equipment to take good photos.
